New report suggests HST rebate continues to boost single-family new home sales across GTA

It’s encouraging to see new data showing the positive impact of the HST rebate on single-family home sales across the GTA. In July, sales in this segment tripled to 781 units. Notably, average single-family prices dipped 8.5% to $1.36M, which may present some opportunities for buyers looking to enter the market. Condos saw a slight uptick in sales, though activity remains modest; prices edged up 2.5% to $1.05M. With 18,546 units currently available, it’s clear there’s more choice out there for both buyers and sellers.
