July brought another strong month for low-rise new home sales in the Greater Toronto Area, as buyers continued to take advantage of the HST rebate program. Sales have now outpaced the 10-year average for four consecutive months—a trend that speaks to both market momentum and the opportunities available for those making a move. In July alone, there were 1,018 sales, with single-family homes performing especially well—up 50% above the average. Condo sales saw a significant boost too, climbing 40% year-over-year.
